Per seat and per user pricing pages

These pages quote a price per user per month, almost always the annual price with a monthly toggle nearby, and put a seat count or a "per user" label under every plan. Look for how they treat viewers and guests, and for the tier where a contact sales button replaces the price. 10 of the pages here use this model. 8 lead with a free plan and 6 end the grid with a contact sales tier. The typical page shows 4 plans.

Flat price pricing pages

One price per account, site, store or company, so the grid reads like a consumer product: three or four columns, a highlighted middle plan and feature lists that get longer to the right. Team or business plans on the same page often switch to per seat. 2 of the pages here use this model. 2 lead with a free plan and 1 ends the grid with a contact sales tier. The typical page shows 7 plans.

Usage, credit and contact based pricing pages

The price depends on volume, so these pages add a slider, a calculator or a credits table to the plan grid. The number shown is the price at the smallest tier, and the page has to explain what one unit of usage buys. 2 of the pages here use this model. 1 leads with a free plan and 2 end the grid with a contact sales tier. The typical page shows 6 plans.

One-time licence and quote-only pricing pages

Perpetual licences show a single price with what updates it includes, while quote-only pages replace numbers with a form. Both are rare among the products tracked here and worth studying for what they leave out. 2 of the pages here use this model. 1 ends the grid with a contact sales tier. The typical page shows 3 plans.

Pricing page questions

What should a SaaS pricing page include?
The pages here share a pattern: three or four plans in columns, a monthly and annual toggle with the annual price shown by default, a free plan or trial on the left, a highlighted recommended plan in the middle, a contact sales tier on the right and a feature comparison table below the fold. The price unit (per user, per site, per month) sits directly under each price.
How many plans does a SaaS pricing page usually show?
4. Across the 16 pages here with extracted plans the median is 4 plans, and almost every page keeps the top tier as a contact sales column rather than a listed price.
Do SaaS pricing pages show monthly or annual prices?
Most per seat pages show the annual price expressed per month, with the monthly price behind a toggle and 15 to 25 percent higher. Flat and consumer plans more often show the monthly price. Each product page on this site records which one the page shows.
Which of these pricing pages have a free plan?
11 of the 16 pages list a free plan next to the paid tiers: SaturnSQL, PopSQL, Claude, ChatGPT, Apollo.io, Descript, Hex, Linear, Lusha, Otter.ai, Runway.

The models themselves are explained on the SaaS pricing models page.
